Online Workshop: FIRST ENCOUNTERS
The first encounters with a potential new Rosen Method client are very important. These connections can be the difference between working with or losing a client.
In this workshop, we will explore:
- How to respond to the very first contact with a new person?
- How are you able to invite someone into this Rosen journey in the first contact and in the first session?
- How to gather relevant information from prospective clients?
- How to explain Rosen Method Bodywork for a new client who has no experience of this work?
- What to say when asked, “What does a Rosen session look like?”
- How to educate the client before and during the first session?
- How to assess if this person is a good match for Rosen Method and for you?
We will work with what we each bring to these initial encounters that is helpful or hindering for ourselves and for the client. We will discuss and develop ways to interview potential clients. Additionally, we will explore first sessions from our own past encounters and from our clients’ perspective. We will discuss observing what the client is experiencing, how this session is unfolding, and what words address the client’s process in the first session.
Sarah and Helga will share their first encounters experiences both as clients and as long-term practitioners. They will facilitate exploration and discussion with participants to develop their skills and confidence in meeting with new clients for the first time.
This workshop will be held in English and is for all Rosen Method Bodywork Trainees and Practitioners.
